Premiere: A Story.

April 9-10th. 2021

A Story. premiered this past weekend. Covid 19 restrictions, limited the audience to small groups of people, and leading to three sold out shows. It's a privilege to dance and share with people with the states of things the way they are.

Back on stage: Underneath

November 10th. 2020

Underneath premiered at Oktoberdans 2018. Yesterday, we were back on stage, performing this piece after only three days of rehearsals. So grateful to bring this work back, and especially in these strange times, meeting a larger audience was an amazing privilege. And my colleagues did such a great job!

Thank you!

To my dancers Lisa Bysheim, Ingeborg Bjerke Styve, Synne Elve Enoksen, Brita Grov, Cesilie Kverneland, Amy Pender.

To Bergen Dansesenter with Liv Basberg, producer. To Kilden teater og konserthus for hosting us. To Bergen kommune, Fond For Utøvende Kunstnere, Kulturrådet for funding.

Bergen Fringe Festival 2020

September 6th. 2020

Dancing in /MUST/TRUST/LUST by Malin Nøss Vangsnes in collaboration with Impro Lab, at Bergen Fringe Festival 2020. A group of performers from different backgrounds, bringing different expressions to the mix.

Funding granted!

May 23rd. 2020

Grateful to continue A Story. solo work with funding from City of Bergen and Norwegian Art Council.
A work-in-progress showing of this solo, now titled A Story, was performed during Mind The Gap 2019. The work was overwhelmingly well received by an audience consisting of people within and from outside the field of dance. It ended up being quite emotional for performer and spectators. The research continues in the coming year! Stay tuned for more information and future performances.
