Adaptation of Underneath
Underneath is a conceptual dance piece that emphasizes a raw, physical dance language meeting a plastic tarp. As a collective fold, they move through different states and stages. The piece creates room for your own imagination through the mysterious and hidden under the tarp. The landscape is transformed through different forms and sounds, from nature with different animals and beings, to fire, sea, waves and mountains. Everything has a context where all actions have consequences and reactions. Underneath aims to present dance in an unfamiliar packaging and meet a broad audience group with a series of images, thoughts and associations for both adults and children - interested in dance or not. The performance was now adapted for 1st through 7th grade - and also a part of Scenekunstbruket’s repertoary.
