Detours

/ˈdiːtʊə/ a long or roundabout route that is taken to avoid something or to visit somewhere along the way.” 
A research project about the choices 
we make, how the choices affect our 
lives and the paths we walk through
life. Physical exploration through a duet 
with different images related to choices 
and paths. The theme and experiences we 
take with us from this process will fuel a 
generous and steady dance project for 
youth and adults. We want to create a 
work that can transform spaces, 
by experimenting with light, objects and 
fabric where we build a labyrinth or a 
map with different paths on it the stage.
