Solid Ground
Solid Ground dives into the themes of trust, touch, the value of process and the exploration of common and solid ground through highly physical dancing. The aim is to create surprising and impressive moments using lift, momentum, sensitivity, proximity, risk-taking and stability. The focus is on the unique moments that occur in the meeting itself - the indissoluble link and the result that can only be created through the interaction between individuals.
The project aims to create a unique meeting point between young and old, as participants both in the process and in the finished performance, in this way includes across generations; a reminder that we are all human beings who have value and knowledge we can share with each other.
The project has also done research with ImproLaBergen and done workshops with seniors at Bergen Dansesenter.
