Lerret by Helena Wik
Roskva Yasmin Andersen as guest performer during Fringe Festival, Bergen 2018.
Lerret is an interdisciplinary performance combining visual art and dance. A white canvas is placed in a public space, is it art? Two dancers meet on the canvas and interact, has the canvas become art now? The dancers leave an imprint/mark on the canvas. Has the canvas become a product of an art piece? By documenting the audience's reactions and behaviours, empirical material is being collected to find a possible answer.
Concept by Helena Wik. Developed in collaboration with Lisa Colette Bysheim.
