"Curtain" is a dance project about what we hide and cover up our lives with and how we cover up difficult things and themes, in the pursuit of the perfect. It is explored through everyday actions and the metaphorical potential found in curtains. The dancers manipulate and hide in curtains in concert with sound composed by Jørn Lavoll and lighting design by Jan Holden.
An exploration of the frustration that arises when we don't live up to our expectations and the desperation to hide/cover up our disappointment. The disappointment after all the effort, when you've tried everything, given everything and still don't get the results you want.
